Assessment & Promotion Rules

Promotion of the child will be subject to regular attendance and completion of worksheets.

Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation is followed in class I to V.
The Assessment will consist of continuous testing of various skills using multiple tools and techniques throughout the year as
follows:
- - STD I & II
  - Term I = Cycle I and Cycle II
  - Term II = Cycle III and Cycle IV
It is mandatory for students to be regular and have 75% minimum of attendance during the academic year for promotion to the next class.
It is compulsory for a student to secure a grade higher than E in Music, GK, Art, Computer and Value Education.

A. Internal Assessment – 30 Marks
Periodic Test	10 Marks
Notebook Submission	10 Marks
Subject Enrichment Activity	10 Marks
Total (Internal Assessment)	30 Marks
B. Half-Yearly / Annual Examination – 70 Marks
Total (Examination)	70 Marks
C. Grand Total – 100 Marks
30 (Internal) + 70 (Examination)	100 Marks

The following will be graded on 5 point scale (A to E)
- Work Education (Computer)
- Art Education
- Health and Physical Education
- General Knowledge
For holistic assessment, the students will be assessed on 3 grading point scale (A to C) in the area of Discipline, Attendance, Sincerity, Behavior.
Attendance is compulsory for all periodic tests, subject enrichment activities and annual examination.

Student must obtain qualifying grade (minimum grade C) in all the subjects under scholastic and co-scholastic Domains.
